The Blood Type Diet

Is this another faddy diet that just doesn't work? Well it depends on who you ask. This diet is not like your typical diet which changes your eating habits for a short period of time. Most diets help you attain your desired weight by totally changing what your used to eating, once your desired weight is attained then you go back to your normal eating habits and then you regain all the weight which was lost. The blood type phenomenon was started in japan then slowly made its way to our shores here in the united states. Does it really work?

There are only about 35% of americans that are aware of their blood type. That means the number of people who are over weight is just a fraction of that. Will this diet work for everyone? Maybe not because its a life changing diet that can take a huge sacrifice. The blood type diet just doesn't change your eating habits for a season, it changes your eating habits for the rest of your life. Will you see instantaneous results? Yes and no. That would depend on your genetic make up. Each person will have different results.

Are you willing to to change the way you eat? This can be a huge commitment that some people are not willing to make but it can be the one that actually works. Before your next diet do a little research and see if this will work for you.

Worldwide Blood Types

In Japan " Whats Your Blood Type " is more than just small talk. It's one of the most important questions you can ask a stranger. No matter how much research is done, this phenomenon has already taken over the entire country. It has even spread to a few countries that are close to japan like Indonesia and south korea. You can even say that knowing your blood type can tell everything from relationship compatibility to career worthiness. Who really knows if this is for real or just a fad. If it's a fad then it must be a very powerful one which has no end in sight.

When will america get the blood type fever? Do you think that we even care to know our blood type? Even if our life is on the line some people would not go find out unless it was told to them laying in the hospital. We have over 300 million people living in the united states and roughly 100 million of them are currently aware of their blood type. Thats not bad if you look at the numbers but it's still far from where we need to be.

We have been seeing video games with blood types for years but we never really payed much attention. We know its a very important thing to find out but we just havent been that active when it comes to finding out. I think there will be an event that will force people to be more aware in the next few years but what do I know!!! I guess you can say I'm being hopeful and optimistic at the same time. You be the judge..

The official blood type blog!!

What is a blog? Do we mainly speak our minds about things that we feel we are experts. there is so much to know about blood types that I don't think I could ever become an expert. I might know more than the average person but does that really make me an expert? There are just a few simple things that every one needs to know about blood types. There are 8 official blood types A- A+ B- B+ AB- AB+ O- O+. O is the universal donor and AB is the universal recipient. Ever human has a blood type and in case of emergency you can receive blood through a blood transfusion.

Depending where you are located in the world this information can either make sense to you or bore you. What makes the world such a great place is that no matter where you are located there is someone out there who wants to hear what you have to say. Now the kicker is when what you say actually makes any sense or can be of any use to them. With the world wide web being on every continent, you can reach from miami florida to tokyo japan in a matter of seconds.

Some countries tell their citizens their blood types when they are born and they remind them by placing it on their driver licenses so that they can't forget. We will try our best to introduce this in the united states as soon as we can. It might be a matter of speaking to the right person or making our voices heard. If we needed your signature to get this law passed will you be willing to help us further our cause?

One of the most important days in the year is blood type awareness day! I'm assuming you havent heard of that yet but it should be here soon. Lets all do our part and help one person find out their blood type. What are you waiting for!!!

Does blood types matter?

No matter how much you tell someone that something is good for them you can never make them change. Life can be a whole lot better if we were to be more educated in things that matter most, our health. Knowing your blood type is very important. How important you say? Well if you were in a situation where you only had minutes to live and you need an immediate blood transfusion what do you think would happen next? We take the most pivotal things in our lives for granted.

How many times do you think we have to hear something before we take heed? As humans we have to hear something 7 times before it starts to sink in. Does that have to be the case in this situation. I think knowing my blood type is important to me so it should be important to you also. When you focus on your health, your blood type will start to make more sense to you.

If we took the time out to get more acquainted with what really matters then we will start to realize that knowing certain things about ourselves will be beneficial in the end. Our country is still no where close to where it needs to be when it comes to knowing your blood type. Certain countries make it a priority for individuals to find out their blood types. We even see some employers in other countries who hire employees based on their blood type. I don't think we will get to that extent here in the U.S. but you never know.

If you don't find out for me then do it for yourself. Be more proactive when it comes to your health and you will be surprised what happens next.....

Your Blood Type Health

Has anyone in your family died from a heart attack, cancer, or astroke? If so then there is a very high likelihood that your bloodtype might be A or AB. This is because cancers are associated withgroup A, as are clotting diseases, including blood clots, which inmany cases lead to coronary heart disease and fatal heart attacks.Do you get yearly check ups? Most americans actually don't take thetime to go to the doctor once per year to get an annual check up. Wefeel that if we aren't around a certain age that we don't need tofocus on our health. This has been an issue for millions of americanswithout health insurance. Don't let you not having health insurancekeep you away from the doctor every year.I had a friend who was only 18 years old, who died from heart failurewhich was associated with a blood disorder. We all think that it willnever happen to us but we are totally wrong. Your health is not a gameof russian roulette. We have to make sure that we are in perfecthealth as often as we can. We only have one life to live so make sureyou do your best to live it right.Studies have shown that given the right diet, each blood type canextend life expectancy up to twenty years. How you ask? Well food hasadverse effects on your body. Most diseases or ailments associatedwith food takes years or even decades to show up. You can easilyprevent these by eating foods that will compliment your particular type.Did you know that high insulin levels in your body, from eating lotsof carbohydrates, lower your body' anabolic response, growth hormonesecretion, immune response, and boost fat storing enzymes, all at thesame time? Are you learning anything yet?

Keeping a good diet

How hard can it be to eat the right foods on a daily basis? That seems like an easy question to answer but we all know that it can be the hardest thing in the world. Many of us start diets with good intentions but we usually end up going back to our old eating habits as soon as we get to our ideal weight. Diets are temporary, we need something more permanent. We sometimes need a lifestyle change in order to get any where long term.

Going on a diet does not have to be a hard thing. We can start small and change your eating habits gradually. We should look at dieting as we do getting our education. We start college knowing how long it will take to obtain our degree. Most of us usually finish school in 4 years other slow learners take 5 or 6, but they finish. Do you start a job as an intern and expect to be vice president of the company in 2 weeks? I hope not...

There are charts that let you know which food is good for your blood type and which foods are not. The easiest way in my opinion is to avoid the foods that will do harm to your body. Once you know exactly which foods will be harmful then you can just eat everything else which would either fall into the beneficial or neutral category.

Try food replacement as one of your first steps. If you notice that you are giving up something that you love or have been eating for years, try replacing it with something similiar in the same food group. In the end the main thing that should matter most to you is you!!!

We can prolong our life if we focus on the right things. This is a year of change, try to eat healthier for a better you. Lets make it happen in 2009.
